How much is Postage?

All purchases are posted fully trackable, however various postage rates are available to suit every customer. Each shipment will automatically be set up with shipment and delivery notifications either via text or email.

– FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING with orders over £40

– Fully tracked 1st Class delivery with signature £5.00

– Fully tracked 2nd Class delivery with signature  £4.50

– International delivery with signature £10

Free UK Shipping is sent as 2nd class, if you require items to be sent as 1st class shipping, you will be charged full price for this service.Please contact us for more details.

Please note: There are no additional cost per item per order and postage is non-refundable when an item is returned to us.

Customs charges are for customers to pay to accept package. 

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes! As we are based in the UK, recorded International shipping is charged at a flat rate of £10, Or free with £40 spend and this will give you a fully trackable service with Royal Mail. If shipping were to cost above this amount you will be contacted and may have to pay additional fees. Orders sent internationally can take up to 7-10 working days to be delivered, dependent on where you are.
For international customers, although rare, please be aware that custom charges may occur for parcels sent abroad, this is out of our control. Please ask your local postmaster for more information.

Customers are responsible for any import VAT, taxes and fees on all orders shipped. A Weathered Penny will not accept returns or issue a refund if you decide not to pay these custom fees. If you refuse to accept your package you will be liable for 50% of your total order excluding shipping, this is non refundable.

How long will posting/shipping take?

We aim to ship all orders on the same day as ordered during the weekday, final cut of time is 3pm due to our postal collection time. At busy holiday periods orders are dispatched within 1-3 working days. If an order is urgent, please email and let us know, we are always happy to help where we can, yet please be aware that items are handmade and made to order, so please allow time for it to reach you.

Please order with time to spare if it is for a special occasion’s such as birthdays as some items which require adhesive to completely set can take a short while longer.

During the Christmas period, New Year and UK Bank Holidays, it may take slightly longer for packages to arrive. We can not be held responsible for the delay around these national holiday dates and international shipments. Please note that once the order is posted, the parcels are inevitably out of A Weathered Penny’s control and responsibility.

I’ve received a red card but I didn’t collect the package in time, what do I do?

We all have busy lifestyles and we know that time can fly, so don’t worry. If an item is uncollected after you have been notified by your local postal service. Follow the instructions on the card for redelivery. If you don’t do this the parcel is usually returned to us. If this happens we will happily send it back to you but you will be charged for the additional postage.

Can I buy now and pay later with Klarna?

Yes you can! We now offer 30 days payment scheme with our partners Klarna. Spread the cost over 30 days making it even easier to shop with us. Please note there is no minimum to use the Klarna payment service and our usual returns policy still applies.

Pre-order information:

Orders containing any pre-order items will only ship when the entire order is ready and in stock. Please consider making separate orders if you are ordering in stock and pre-order items.

We have a no hassle cancellation policy for any pre-order items and do not charge a cancellation fee. Simply email us via our contact form or reply to your order confirmation email.

Please note that pre-order shipping dates are an estimate and is subject to change without notice.

Buying Multiple Items:

At AWP, we don’t always know if you are buying multiple presents or purchasing multiple items for yourself. With this in mind (and trying not to overuse our canvas bags) we will send all orders containing two of an item in one bag (i.e x2 nail polishes or earrings & necklace) in one bag. If you are buying each for a gift, please leave a note at the checkout or send us an email to request a bag for each additional nail polish/jewellery item. 

*Please note this doesn’t include the Revitalising Duo Set, as this will always come on together. 

I received a ‘postcode validation error’ while making payment, what do I do?

Online shopping and security is always being updated to make you more secure when shopping online. This is fantastic news. If you receive a similar message to the one above, ensure that your billing address added to your order, is the same as where the card you’re using is registered to. Your shipping address can be anywhere you wish your parcel to be delivered. Any order with this message will be failed and not shipped. If your order is successful, you will always receive an email confirmation (please check junk or spam to ensure it hasn’t been sent there by your email provider). I am being given two delivery options for my order, what does this mean?

We are now asking all customers at the checkout if you want your order to be shipped in luxury packaging or eco packaging. Here is a run down of what this means;

Luxury Packaging: Your order will be shipped in a canvas bag/s, unless a gift box has been purchased. This is a good option for those who are buying items from us as a gift or would like to store their jewellery order. Please note this does not include sale items.

Eco Packaging: Your order will be shipped without canvas bag/s and we will use recyclable or reusable packaging to ship your order. This is a good option if you are buying items for yourself or have purchased from us before.
